ENCHANTED TALE

Enchanted Tale Production is definitely the biggest platform i had in terms of dancing for an audience. This production is extremely meaningful to me in a whole different level compared to last years Alice In Wonderland despite that being my first large scale concert. The reason why is because this time on stage i am dancing with my friends i have been dancing together with since i was 5. well yes, none of them participated last year.

We have put it tons of effort into the dance this year , because honestly speaking we are not all that with the dancers body/feet, flexible , great technique etc. I am extremely happy with how it turned out and i am thankful for the countless of lessons spent sweating and in pain. It was definitely worth it.

I would like to thank Yao De and Caleb for coming down to support me hahaha.

- DELAYED POST TOO -

Despite being busy, how do i stay happy

Just like what the title says, this post will be about how i managed to be mentally happy despite my busy schedule that caused me to be physically and mentally tired. Honestly speaking , this is not easy and i wished i realised or knew to make time for myself back in sec 3. This is just something that i picked up back in December.

Back in December, right after COC, it was full swing of days spent outside either working or dancing as enchanted tale production was round the corner, not to mention i had master class at SBA. There wasnt a day whereby i would be free at home for at least 4 hours if you take away my sleeping time.

But how did i manage to make time for myself, you ask me.
The answer is simple, priorities.
There is no such thing as no time, everyone has 24 hours. It is how you want to use your time and how you priorities it.

Back then i made it a priority to treat myself or do something really crazy out of the random. I would also often meet up with my friends or visit them at work, because it was better than staying at home. Despite not being able to rest much, being with them, talking or watching movie, its because i enjoyed my free time whenever i had the chance to that made me realised that its the small things that count.

It was the short breaks in between my schedules that made the rest of the week or day good for me.

For example ,

i had a master class in the morning, met OYD and Caleb for lunch. They accompanied me to remake IC, then went to Vivo to visit olyvia at work, then cab to Bukit Panjang to play badminton before i head off for my evening dance class again.

Last minute planning to watch a movie the day itself with imran and Jun rong.

Working but meeting wan xuan, eugenia, and jency for dinner.
Took a day off. met Ganesha, for the 1st time, in the afternoon and talked for hours before heading to spend my  New Year's Eve Eve night with Spartans. [ Nope thats not a typo, it is eve eve.]

Working on New Years Eve, but went straight to Xie Ting's house after work just to count down with the usual gang and additional people! I reached at 11+ ( well havent midnight yet ) stayed till 2 or 3 plus cant remember before heading home for work the next day.

You get the point of this post right?

The answer to how i stay happy despite being busy? I make time to meet my friends and be with those i love to keep myself happy.

Honestly speaking this is something i am very thankful i have learned because now i truly appreciate the company around me.

- YES THIS IS ANOTHER POST THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UP ON DECEMBER -

Spartans

To Spartans [ yes this includes the instructors ] :

Congratulations on passing out from COC together with me! hahaha. I will like to thank everyone of you for being with me for the 2 weeks during COC. I am sure that within the 2 weeks [ 24 nov to 5 dec 2014 ] we have forged new bonds and created too many new memories. I am thankful for everyone single one of you as without one of you, we would not be Spartans. The culture we have created, i hope it does not die. I know i have made new friends whom  i will continue to keep in touch with. Without you guys, this course would not be enjoyable. I just want to end this off saying, I LOVE YOU GUYS AND I LOVE YOUR COMPANY.  I am looking forward to the many more ( yes pls!) outings with you guys that will definitely be crazyyyyy.
