Well so...whatever that happened this week will be posted tomorrow.
Today, I am going to type out my new year resolutions which i wrote
for my school this year... Times flew quickly that now it is already half
the year.Now i am typing that to remind myself what i promised to do
and not to. This way it is easier to see if i am doing what i promised.
2011 is a new chapter of my life.I have entered a new world with a new lifestlye,environment and a new begining as a teen.I would like to take my first step into this new year by remembering that nothing is impossible to the willing mind and that i have to rise to the occasion when challenged.Keeping all this in mind,i will start by cultivating the right values and beliefs, such as thinking positively and keeping an open mind. With an open mind, I will be able to take in criticisms and advices given by my peers and teachers. This way I will be able to change for the better.This includes me being emotionally matured. I will have to accep defeat and criticisms graciously,afterall it is all for my own god. This includes me being skeptical. I Have to be willing to consider all ideas and be equally willing to dismiss them(ideas) if they do not stand up to critical analysis.
In a new environment i have to make new friends. With a smile on my face,I can go around helping others. This way,i can be a friend and a helping hand to anyone and everyone in the class. With my friends, together we will walk into the future. Doing homework together,helping one another whrn in need.wWe will be spending out precious time together through thick and thin creating memories that we will al look back on one day.Feeling safe,calm,accpeted,loved,loving and alive, i want to try new things in this new environment.and see which and what suits me to accomnplish them. Accrpting perfection in others and myself is one thing that i want accomplish.Nobody is perfect,but we can try to be as perfect as we can. I want to learn to be comfortable with my flaws and the flaws of others around me. I will also calmly accpet the fact that life is full f uncertaintly and frustrations. There is no pill that i can take, and the next day wake up to be a new better brand new person.There is no short cut to sucess,i will have to learn the right thing s and put them to practise. '' It is the hard work and dedication set to the job at hand and the determination to stand up after you fall", if i succeed, i cannot be pround to the etend in which i look down on others and forget the hardwork and effort that i have put in my work. After all,self conciet leads to self destrution. With the saying," ability may get you to the top but it is the character that keep you there." i know that my attitude and discipline is who i am and what i will be. Hence, i will change my attitude and self disciplne in areas that i lack in.
Inspirring others is something that everyone wants to do. However it is a natural thing,it cannot be acted out. It has to come out naturally from the bottom of our hearts. I want to inspire others by giving a listening ear,using encouraging words,having confidence and pride in the things that i do.
