Jessah Toralba Marie Rara

This post is dedicated to a close friend, Jessah Toralba Marie Rara.

Today, October 27 2013 is the day that you are flying off to California, by the time this is uploaded you would be in the plane, halfway through your flight. Its different compared to my friends going overseas for holidays cause you are migrating over. I know you're sad, worried and afraid.Like I said before I'll be here for you. honestly, im sure everyone else as well. Whatsapping you the past few days...I tried not to bring the topic up..im sorry I couldn't send you off.

Just wanted to let you know,Thanks for being an amazing friend for me, even though I only met you this year and it has been less than 10months since I started talking to you. I remember the first time I talked to you was because I had a mission to pass you a letter from Jacinth... ahah and we made our way to the canteen and continued talking. ^^ I spent only 15 mins talking to you before rushing off for lessons but somehow it seemed that we talked for ages. Thank you for being there and talking and cheering me up , those times when even my closest friends didn't reach me or when I isolated myself. Basically being such a good friend. Do remember to keep in contact! Im sorry.. I only tried talking about the happy things. If yu're sad over there just do stuff to make me jealous okay ^^ ( you know what I mean ) Text me ur new number when u get it or FB me Skype also can!

Cambodia Trip

Once again im back after some time. I apologise for keeping you guys from waiting. If you have been an avid reader of my blogger, if you are I thank you for sticking around my bullshit blog posts, you would have know that earlier this year in June [ yes I know...it has been 4 months] I went on two overseas trip and had a camp in school before the haze came into Singapore. After 4 months of my busy life, in school, [ yes I have no life] I just realised that I did not blog about my Cambodia Trip. yes...this is what this post is going to be about.

This Cambodia Trip is a service trip which selected councillors and some CCA leaders from my school was selected to go. I was one of the lucky few...[did miss 3 holiday lesson :/] before heading to Cambodia, we were split into groups and we had to plan a lesson plan for the kids. yes, you guessed it right. The motive of this trip was to teach the kids in a village in Cambodia. My group consist of Matthew, Zavier, Nivetha, Wei Zhi and me. haha we were the 'latecomers' for the first meeting. I had another meeting before that. I kind of am grateful for this trip because I bonded a lot with people I don't usually interact with. Taking my group members for example, Zavier and Matthew are both secondary 2 and not in my committee. Wei Zhi is my classmate but we sit at the opposite ends in the class ( he's a cca leader) . Nivetha, sadly, I don't even interact with her that much, ( different class different cca). However, if you asked me, I would say we came together real well and worked together as a team. Another three people I got close with would be Durga, Arina and Kar Yin. Guess I bonded a lot with the sec 2s!

Teaching the kids, I found that I was more patient with them..and this really shocked me. But its great. Their innocence, simplicity. wow. no words can describe it.
